Sari DeLeon Resit

Philippine native Sari DeLeon Reist is Assistant Principal Cello with Orchestra Nashville. She performs regularly with some of Nashville’s finest musicians and ensembles on stage and in the recording studio. Sari received her Bachelors of Music degree in cello performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Irene Sharp.

After playing with the New World Symphony in their 1996-97 season, Sari pursued her Suzuki Certification through an intensive two year program at School for Strings in New York City, where she later joined the faculty. Sari has also taught cello at Mannes College of Music and The Children’s’ Orchestra of New York, and the Governors School for the Arts in TN. In Nashville she maintains a private studio in addition to teaching at Lipscomb University.
