Honey Beth Wiggs

As a member of the extended Annie Moses Band family and FASA faculty member, Honey Beth Wiggs gives her exuberance and joy to every musical endeavor. Students love and admire this multi-talented performer and teacher. Growing up in a household of artists, Honey Beth focused upon the flute and pursued a degree as a flute performance major at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC where she studied under the instruction of Ms. Pamela Nelson. With a classical education at the foundation of her music, Honey Beth enjoys a breadth of musical styles and roles. Jazz, fusion, classical, and pop, make up the palette of her musical expression, and she loves to encourage students to take their music beyond traditional roles. As conductor for the Fine Arts Summer Academy, this will be Mrs. Whiggs 6th year partnering with Bill Wolaver as the co-director of the Big Band.
