Younger Division Tuition: $595

Payments may be made by check or credit card. A 5% finance charge is applied to all credit card payments.

Scholarships/Financial Aid

 

Financial Aid and Merit Based Scholarships:

Application Deadline is February 15th.

Financial Aid Application: 

Financial Aid is awarded based upon the financial need of the student and the availability of space within tracks.

1. One page essay by student describing their artistic goals and reasons for attending FASA.

2. Parents or other financial responsible party must write a description of their financial situation and why they are applying for financial aid.

3. 2 letters of recommendation: 1 letter from music or artistic instructor and 1 letter from a pastor or spiritual mentor.

Merit Based Scholarship Application:

Merit scholarships are awarded based upon the student’s skill and availability of track.

1. One page essay by student describing their artistic goals and reasons for attending FASA.

2. Parents or other financial responsible party must write a description of their financial situation and why they are applying for financial aid.

3. 2 letters of recommendation: 1 letter from music or artistic instructor and 1 letter from a pastor or spiritual mentor.

4. 3-5 minute DVD of student playing/performing in their given track of study.

 

Room and Board

 

At the Fine Arts Summer Academy students are privileged to be able to stay on the beautiful campus of Lipscomb University.  Lipscomb University is situated in the heart of Nashville, in close distance to the best tourist attractions of Nashville. Students ages 14+ are eligible to stay in the Singles housing on Lipscomb University.  Please read Lipscomb University's honor code here.  Girls and boys occupy separate dormitories.  Each student will be placed with a specific chaperone in a suite of rooms that will be filled with age-appropriate companions or a companion of their choice.  Curfew is 10:00 PM and the strictest measures of safety are kept for the benefit of the students who attend.

Housing:

Housing for families and individuals is available on Lipscomb University Campus. Families are also free to board in local hotels.

Family Housing: Co-ed housing arranged in suites.

Family housing may be purchased in full or half suites. Full suites feature 2 bedrooms adjoined by a bathroom. Half suites are 1 bedroom sharing a bathroom with the adjoining room.

Full Suite: $99 per night Half Suite: $55 per night

Housing for Week 1 Younger Division is 8 nights.

Housing for full term Upper Division is 13 nights.

Student Housing: Separate boys and girls dorms. Students are overseen by dorm chaperones during their stay at FASA.

Student Housing: $30 a night

Cafeteria Meal Cards are available for students and their families, in addition individual meals may be purchased by card or cash.

$160- covers one meal a day plus Orientation Luncheon

$260 - covers 2 meals a day plus Orientation Luncheon

$380 - covers 3 meals a day plus Orientation Luncheon
